You know who you are. Today, this evening, I had my newest boarder in the indoor arena working with her horse. I was mucking stalls, but I was listening. Of course. There isn’t much to focus on when you’re scooping manure.
So I listened. All I heard, constantly, was her murmuring to her horse. “Good Girl! What a good job! Pretty Girl!” I don’t know if these were the exact words she used, but it didn’t matter. The sentiment was that she loved her horse and wanted to share that with her horse, treating the mare with respect and adoration. All I could do was stop for a moment and thank God that I had another wonderful person to share my amazing barn with. So thank you to my newest boarder for giving me that moment.
